PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Champ Johnson (ranked 2255 p4p, 3740 weight class) and Rapido Nadadora (ranked 276 p4p, 422 weight class). Johnson comes into the arena with Can't Be Touched blaring out of the sound system. On his way into the cage it seems that Champ Johnson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Champ Johnson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nadadora throws a series of punches but Johnson moves out of range.
Johnson appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.

Johnson is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

and Johnson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Johnson lands a big head kick that sends Nadadora tumbling to the mat! Johnson takes a step backwards and waves Nadadora back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Johnson swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Nadadora seems to have recovered his senses.

and Johnson scores with a counter punch that sends Nadadora to the canvas! Johnson smells blood - he's punishing Nadadora with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Nadadora has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Champ Johnson spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
