Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Steven Christie (ranked 373 p4p, 160 weight class) and Tomoe Gozen (ranked 42 p4p, 19 weight class). Christie comes to the cage accompanied by Amityville. Tomoe Gozen told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Steven Christie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tomoe Gozen!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gozen lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Christie has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Christie and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Steven Christie.

Tomoe Gozen decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
In defeat, Steven Christie stepped up to the mic, saying 'Roses are red, violets are blue, I'm making a voodoo doll, thinking of you.'.
