Helmsfrid Jr has closed the distance and engaged Venegas in a clinch.
Venegas tries to score a body lock takedown but Helmsfrid Jr shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Venegas is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Helmsfrid Jr can't fight it off and eventually Venegas manages to take the fight to the floor. Helmsfrid Jr looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Venegas is posturing up here but Helmsfrid Jr has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Venegas tries to roll out but it's too tight and Venegas has to tap! Slick submission there by Helmsfrid Jr!
