The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rebernik works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Rebernik fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Smacks seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Smacks walks into a left hand.
Rebernik lands a nice looking body shot.
Rebernik lands with a good body shot.
Rebernik connects with a single shot there.

Rebernik thuds a left hand into Smacks's body.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rebernik jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Rebernik looks to score with a jab to the body but Smacks is just out of range.
Smacks takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
A lazy left from Rebernik finds it's target.

Smacks takes a shot right to the bread basket.
A combination from Rebernik does no damage.
As Rebernik looks to move away, Smacks throws a big counter combo but Rebernik just gets out of the way.
Brane Rebernik is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rebernik connects with a jab.
Rebernik tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Smacks counters with a nice body shot.
Rebernik connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Smacks needs to keep his hands up - Rebernik had a free shot at his head there.
Rebernik lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Smacks is rocked!
Rebernik swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Smacks counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Rebernik thinking.
Rebernik is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Smacks had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Rebernik cracks Smacks with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Smacks looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Rebernik finish him?
Oh Smacks is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rebernik ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Smacks's jaw. Smacks's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Rebernik does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
