The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nasty throws out a loose jab but Fisk uses good head movement to avoid it.
Nasty lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Nasty misses with a looping left.
Nasty tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Fisk manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nasty is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fisk.
Fisk throws a body shot but no joy.
Fisk misses the shot to the body.
Nasty takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Fisk misses with a hook. Nasty ducked under it nicely.
Fisk bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Nasty's head backwards.
Fisk moves away from the strike by Nasty.
Fisk lands a slapping body shot.

Nasty clinches up with Fisk and pushes him back against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Nasty blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Fisk lands with a left to the head.
Fisk lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

It looks like Uncle Nasty has been cut.

Fisk lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Nasty's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nasty throws a punch but it's blocked by Fisk.
Nasty misses with a punch on the inside.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Nasty.

We've been informed that Nasty has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Fisk creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Nasty's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Nasty drops to his knees and Fisk pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
