Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergeant Smash (ranked 140 p4p, 395 weight class) and Laughing Panda (ranked 5 p4p, 14 weight class). Sergeant Smash could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Laughing Panda's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Laughing Panda!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smash gets caught flat footed, as Panda shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Panda tries to free his leg and advance position but Smash is retaining full guard.
Smash knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Panda on the ground.
Smash pulls Panda in close to prevent any damage.
Panda wants to control from the top but Smash keeps moving.
Smash wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smash keeping full guard, as Panda tries to pass.
Panda trying to control the position from guard on top but Smash is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Sergeant Smash is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Panda shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Panda showed some decent athleticism there.
Smash keeping hold of Panda's head, controlling as best he can.

Panda is looking for a kimura but Smash is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Panda to get the leverage.
Panda wants to free his trapped foot but Smash is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Smash on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Smash tries to get out of the position.

Panda might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Smash haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Panda is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Smash has control of Panda's left arm, preventing Panda from doing any damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Smash throws a body punch but Panda moves out of range.

and Smash counters with a nice right hand that sends Panda toppling to the canvas! Panda scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Smash finish him?!

Panda is rocked!
Panda shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Smash defends it nicely.
Smash was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Panda is still on wobbly legs! Can Smash finish him?
Smash fakes the body blow, causing Panda to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Panda goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

A determined Sergeant Smash didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
