Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arne Skognar (ranked 3050 p4p, 1792 weight class) and Bjj Ace (ranked 393 p4p, 239 weight class). The key to victory for Arne Skognar has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Arne Skognar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bjj Ace!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ace fails with the takedown.
Skognar lands with a hook. Ace tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

and Skognar counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Skognar throws a good cross that connects.
Ace with a poor takedown
and Skognar connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Arne Skognar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bjj Ace.

It looks like Skognar has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Ace darts in looking for a takedown but Skognar gets double underhooks and turns Ace into the cage.

Bjj Ace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Skognar's corner calls for a 1-2. Skognar obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Skognar lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Skognar creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Ace's defenses.
Ace is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Skognar to keep the fight standing.
Skognar is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

The cut above Bjj Ace's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Skognar lands a big knee from the Thai clinch and Ace goes down hard! The ref takes a good look at him but he's still defending himself. Skognar in side control.

Ace is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Skognar tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Ace is still in real trouble! Can Skognar finish him?
Ace seems to have recovered his senses.
Ace is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Skognar wants to stand but Ace is controlling his arm.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Bjj Ace's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Ace tries to pull guard but Skognar holds him up against the cage and eventually Ace drops back down to his feet.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bjj Ace's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Arne Skognar!
A very excited looking Arne Skognar rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
