Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, William Snowdon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vladimir Kosmanov!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kosmanov shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Snowdon is trying to defend but Kosmanov finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Kosmanov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Snowdon has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kosmanov has managed to get both his arms back between Snowdon's legs - danger averted.

Snowdon had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kosmanov defends it easily.

Snowdon has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kosmanov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Kosmanov working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kosmanov connects with a nice short shot to Snowdon's temple.

Kosmanov cracks Snowdon with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Snowdon bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Snowdon is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kosmanov to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kosmanov shrugs it off.

Snowdon has hold of Kosmanov's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kosmanov manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Snowdon goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Kosmanov is on top in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Snowdon bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Well Kosmanov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
