Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between David Cummings (ranked 3063 p4p, 5379 weight class) and Peter Parker (ranked 313 p4p, 451 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Parker feints and as Cummings raises his hands in defense, Parker changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Parker controls from within his opponent's guard.
Parker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Cummings has his foot on Parker's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Parker works his way back into a safe position though.

That was a close round but I would say that David Cummings will probably get the nod.
