Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jomar Habbestano (ranked 3442 p4p, 3347 weight class) and Nathan Fedorov (ranked 459 p4p, 455 weight class). Habbestano kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Eye Of The Tiger. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nathan Fedorov!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Habbestano gets in close and instigates a clinch.
We've been hearing reports that Habbestano has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Fedorov is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Habbestano had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Fedorov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Nathan Fedorov dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Habbestano tries to move into range but Fedorov moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Fedorov cracks Habbestano with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Fedorov has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Fedorov throws a good cross that connects.
Fedorov scores with a decent looking hook.
Fedorov scores with a sloppy right hand. Habbestano should have avoided that one.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Habbestano looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Oh Habbestano is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Fedorov drops Habbestano with a straight right hand, right on the button! Fedorov follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nathan Fedorov!
A relieved looking Nathan Fedorov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
The defeated Jomar Habbestano had this to say: 'I was bested tonight. I'll try to make sure this never happens again. I'll be back, I assure you. Thanks for coming out to watch me fight guys!'.
