Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Klaus Tannenbaum (ranked 2740 p4p, 3361 weight class) and Javon Reese (ranked 375 p4p, 439 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Tannenbaum might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Andrea Bocelli: O Tannenbaum. Klaus Tannenbaum is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tannenbaum fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Reese on the side of the head.
Tannenbaum clobbers Reese with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Reese fails with a takedown attempt.
Tannenbaum looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Reese gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Tannenbaum makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Reese is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tannenbaum is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Reese wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tannenbaum, who protects the arm well.
Reese goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Tannenbaum rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Reese's guard! Nice work there by Tannenbaum!
Reese has his foot on Tannenbaum's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tannenbaum works his way back into a safe position though.
Reese working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tannenbaum doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tannenbaum manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Reese can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Tannenbaum controls the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tannenbaum accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

and Tannenbaum makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Reese moves into the clinch successfully.
Reese has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Tannenbaum seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Reese can turn it around.

Reese has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Tannenbaum uses from the top position.
Reese is looking to cinch up a triangle. Tannenbaum throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Reese's body to avoid the submission. Reese has instead reached around Tannenbaum's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Reese arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

In his post fight interview, Javon Reese started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
