Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boris Krylov (ranked 212 p4p, 352 weight class) and Blake Phoenix (ranked 33 p4p, 56 weight class). Krylov comes to the cage accompanied by For Heavy Metal we will die!. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Blake Phoenix!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Anthony Taglia and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phoenix waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Krylov.
Phoenix throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Krylov wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Phoenix moves out of range as Krylov strikes.
Phoenix takes a jab right on the kisser.

It looks like Blake Phoenix has been cut.
Krylov has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Phoenix finds it's way round the side to connect with Krylov's head.

It looks like Boris Krylov has been cut.
Krylov keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Phoenix.
Krylov appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Krylov misses the jab.
Krylov looks to throw the jab but Phoenix is out of range.
Phoenix loads up on a big right hand but Krylov slips the punch.
Krylov has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Heavy Metal in the buildup to the fight.

Krylov throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Phoenix avoids a punch combination nicely.

Phoenix takes a swing at Krylov's ribcage but misses.
Krylov appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Phoenix bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Krylov's head backwards.
Krylov scores with a one two! Phoenix had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Krylov throws the left hand but Phoenix avoids the punch easily.
Phoenix takes a jab right on the kisser.
Phoenix stuns Krylov with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Phoenix looks to throw the jab but Krylov is out of range.
Krylov fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Phoenix has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Phoenix misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Krylov.

That has opened up Blake Phoenix's cut even more.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Krylov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Phoenix cracks Krylov with an open hand slap.
Phoenix darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Phoenix connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Krylov misses with a low kick as Phoenix jumps back.
Krylov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Phoenix manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Phoenix jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Krylov swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Krylov displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Phoenix throws out the jab.
Phoenix misses with an uppercut
and Phoenix takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Phoenix scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Krylov doesn't seem bothered though.
Krylov tries a head kick but it misses.

Krylov lands a nice shot that snaps Phoenix's head back.
Phoenix tests Krylov's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Krylov drops his hands momentarily and Phoenix takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Krylov swats away the attempt to clinch by Phoenix.
Phoenix fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
A nice leg kick from Krylov, right into the meat of the thigh.
Phoenix takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Krylov lands a left and a right that send Phoenix crashing to the mat, dazed. Krylov thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

The cut above Blake Phoenix's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Phoenix misses with a two punch combination.
Phoenix misses with a left hand
and Krylov counters with a nice low kick that buckles Phoenix's knee momentarily.
Krylov missing with a left hand there. Phoenix was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Phoenix jabs Krylov right on the nose. Krylov blinks but takes it well.
Krylov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Phoenix paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A big left from Phoenix misses.
Phoenix gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Blake Phoenix's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
A punch combination from Krylov misses.
Phoenix misses with an uppercut.
Phoenix throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Krylov sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Krylov looks to land a right hand but Phoenix moved out of range.
Phoenix looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Krylov uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Phoenix.
As Phoenix backs away, Krylov returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Krylov takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Phoenix swings for the body but Krylov moves out of range.
Krylov swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Krylov takes the fight into the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Phoenix's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Krylov makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
A head punch on the inside from Krylov fails to land.
A nice right hand lands inside from Krylov.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Phoenix.
Krylov misses with some punches.
Phoenix jumps guard but Krylov stands there with Phoenix around his waist. Phoenix gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Krylov lands a body shot in the clinch.
Krylov throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Krylov lands with a light punch inside.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Krylov.
Phoenix can't find room to land a body shot as Krylov controls the action.
Krylov lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Phoenix backwards.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Blake Phoenix's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Boris Krylov!
During a confident post fight interview, Boris Krylov thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
The defeated Blake Phoenix had this to say: 'WTF? You've got to be kidding me!'.
