Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jimbo Thump (ranked 4762 p4p, 5247 weight class) and Vidar Hendriksen (ranked 530 p4p, 0 weight class). Vidar Hendriksen is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jimbo Thump!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Vidar Hendriksen!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Chris Saunders and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendriksen explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Hendriksen scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
A solid body kick from Hendriksen.
Thump takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
A thudding body kick lands there by Hendriksen!
Thump fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hendriksen avoids it really well and circles away.
Hendriksen throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Thump really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hendriksen goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Hendriksen with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hendriksen throws a front kick that sends Thump stumbling back into the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A nice leg kick lands there from Hendriksen.
Hendriksen stuffs the takedown attempt from Thump. Thump gets slowly back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A head kick misses from Hendriksen.
Thump fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jimbo Thump. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Thump shoots and misses
and Hendriksen counters with a head kick.
Thump is rocked!
Thump will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Thump moves to clinch but Hendriksen breaks away
and Hendriksen counters with a huge head kick that drops Thump! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vidar Hendriksen!
A relieved looking Vidar Hendriksen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
