The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGee looks for a takedown but Norling sprawls well.
McGee shoots in for a double leg but Norling sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Norling throws a shot to the body.
McGee closes the distance but Norling moves to the side
and Norling connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
McGee rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Norling moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
McGee doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Norling counters with a stiff right hand.

McGee is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

and Norling counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts McGee off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Norling follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but McGee was out before he hit the floor.

Nils Norling decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
