The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soares misses with a shot to the body
and Todd counters with a nice low kick that buckles Soares's knee momentarily.
Soares lands with a cross.
Soares lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Soares looks to score with a jab to the body but Todd is just out of range.
Todd throwing a counter right hand but Soares manages to avoid it.
Gilbervan Soares seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Soares on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Soares tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Todd was well out of range. Poor timing from Soares.
Soares misses with a double jab.
Todd lands with a straight right. Soares didn't see that one coming.
Todd throws a powerful right kick. Soares tried to block low but the kick was high! Soares was taken right off of his feet! Todd jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
