Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hrvoje Palmotic (ranked 1859 p4p, 1765 weight class) and Ichioka Kaori (ranked 254 p4p, 233 weight class). Palmotic comes to the cage accompanied by One day I'll be king. Kaori has chosen GOZEN as his entrance music. Hrvoje Palmotic has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hrvoje Palmotic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ichioka Kaori!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Steve Montenegro and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaori misses the shot to the body.
Palmotic dodges the punch combination from Kaori.
An attempted straight right counter from Palmotic misses the target.
Palmotic lands with a straight right. Kaori didn't see that one coming.
Kaori looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Kaori throws out a loose jab but Palmotic uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ichioka Kaori seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kaori misses with a wild body shot.
Palmotic looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kaori takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Kaori wants to stay close but Palmotic steps back to make room for something. Kaori seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Palmotic and Kaori drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

After winning the bout, Hrvoje Palmotic thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
