The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Ugbago counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Blancho fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ugbago to the ground. Blancho is now in Ugbago's guard.

It looks like Blancho might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Blancho winds up and cracks Ugbago with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Ugbago wants to improve his position but Blancho is controlling well.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Blancho connects with a nice short shot to Ugbago's temple.
