Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kimshi Malvoe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rob Smith!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Smith throws an off balance right hand
enabling Malvoe to counter with a crisp jab.
Smith waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Malvoe.
Malvoe went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Smith scores with a shot to the body.
Smith lands with a good body shot.
Malvoe looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Malvoe lands a left and a right that send Smith crashing to the mat, dazed. Malvoe thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Smith is rocked!
It looks like Rob Smith has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Malvoe scores with a body shot.
Rob Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Some wild striking there from Malvoe.
Malvoe moves out of range of the strikes.
A jab from Malvoe does it's job there.
Smith is still on wobbly legs! Can Malvoe finish him?
Malvoe lands a right hook to the body.
Smith seems to have recovered his senses.
Smith lands a jab to the head.
Malvoe lands a big right hand that sends Smith crashing to the mat! Malvoe stays standing though and waves Smith back to his feet!
Smith lands a glancing blow to the side of Malvoe's head.
Smith works Malvoe's body with a nice hook.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith misses with a shot to the body
and Malvoe scores with a counter punch that sends Smith to the canvas! Malvoe smells blood - he's punishing Smith with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Smith has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kimshi Malvoe!
After winning the bout, Kimshi Malvoe thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
