Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Justin Lobsusbaka (ranked 6193 p4p, 3678 weight class) and Reinaldo Gracie (ranked 472 p4p, 355 weight class). Gracie has chosen Apaga Mas Não Bate as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lobsusbaka walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Lobsusbaka misses with a looping right.
Gracie connects with a body shot.
Gracie uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lobsusbaka.
Gracie has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Lobsusbaka is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Lobsusbaka throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Gracie moves into range and clinches up with Lobsusbaka.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Gracie.

Gracie throws a head punch that misses.
Lobsusbaka misses with a body punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gracie blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Lobsusbaka prevents a body shot from Gracie.
Gracie struggles to land a body shot inside as Lobsusbaka controls his hands.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Gracie.
Gracie jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lobsusbaka walks away with a smile on his face. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Lobsusbaka throws a jab when Gracie was well out of range.
Gracie's corner calls for a 1-2. Gracie obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Gracie dives in and scores a takedown into Lobsusbaka's guard.
Lobsusbaka is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Gracie dives into side control.

Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lobsusbaka has escaped the position, nice work there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lobsusbaka keeps working.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Gracie has an Americana. Lobsusbaka didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Gracie is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Gracie hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
