Garcilazo comes to the cage accompanied by Pretty fly for a whiteguy by The Offspring . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jefferson Christ!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcilazo loads up on a big right hand but Christ slips the punch.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Christ! But no joy.
Garcilazo throws an overhand right that lands on Christ's shoulder, as Christ tries to avoid the shot.
Christ throws out a counter right but Garcilazo avoids it with no problem.
Garcilazo throws a jab when Christ was well out of range.
Christ looks to score with a jab to the body but Garcilazo is just out of range.
Garcilazo half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Garcilazo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Christ to the mat! Christ manages to get full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Garcilazo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Christ's guard.
Garcilazo has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Christ tries to kick Garcilazo off but Garcilazo keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Christ can do anything to dispel that myth.
Garcilazo is trying to control. Christ wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Christ has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Garcilazo is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Garcilazo drops back looking for a leg! Christ is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Christ manages to kick Garcilazo off! Garcilazo jumps back into Christ's guard.
Christ really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Garcilazo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Garcilazo has got one arm under Christ's chin. This could be trouble... Christ trying to control the other hand but Garcilazo gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Christ has tapped out! The fight is over!
