Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ludwig Lachmann (ranked 1622 p4p, 2142 weight class) and Johnny Saigon (ranked 218 p4p, 291 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Saigon's choice of entrance music: Run through the jungle. Johnny Saigon will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Johnny Saigon!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lachmann throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Saigon counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Lachmann shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Saigon's guard.

Lachmann is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Saigon is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Lachmann rather than just go for the knockout.

Lachmann takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Saigon's coach down at IMMA Gym of Elite ASS was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Saigon's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Lachmann tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Lachmann shoots in for a takedown but Saigon shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
