Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sonatane Veainu (ranked 350 p4p, 1894 weight class) and Ben Askrew (ranked 56 p4p, 254 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Askrew takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Veainu connects with a nice looking jab.
Veainu works over Askrew's head and body with a nice combination.
Veainu misses with a hook. Askrew ducked under it nicely.
And Askrew tries to counter it with a takedown but Veainu pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Veainu digs a good body shot into Askrew's ribs.
Nice straight punches there by Veainu. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Veainu.
Veainu looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Nice defenses there by Askrew.
Askrew on the wrong end of a nice hook.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A looping hook to the body misses from Veainu. Askrew does a little dance to reset his feet.
Askrew tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Veainu scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Veainu cracks Askrew with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Askrew looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Veainu finish him?
Veainu Throws a clean left jab. Veainu Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Askrew's chin! Askrew crumbles to the ground and Veainu follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Veainu!
