PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Johan Costa (ranked 3227 p4p, 4440 weight class) and Ronnie Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ronnie Hall was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall moves in looking to clinch but Costa pushes him off.

Hall gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hall escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Costa gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Costa seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
