PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timo Lepisto (ranked 25276 p4p, 4558 weight class) and Robert Brown (ranked 696 p4p, 547 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Timo Lepisto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robert Brown!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
A nice inside leg kick there by Lepisto. That's going to slow Brown down.
Lepisto connects with a leg kick.
A lazy left from Brown finds it's target.
Brown takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Lepisto throws a leg kick but Brown sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Lepisto lands with a thumping leg kick.
Brown chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lepisto can pounce on him.
Lepisto throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Brown throws out a loose jab but Lepisto uses good head movement to avoid it.
Brown looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Lepisto shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Lepisto throws a leg kick but Brown checks it.
It seemed like Brown was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Brown fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lepisto, pushing him back against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Brown lands a right hand that snaps the head of Lepisto backwards.
Lepisto jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Brown walks away with a smile on his face. Lepisto gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Brown throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Lepisto is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Brown doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Lepisto crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Lepisto's bad books for that mishap!
