Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Salvatore Gravano (ranked 4725 p4p, 4714 weight class) and Harrison Concalves (ranked 553 p4p, 550 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Harrison Concalves!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Steve Montenegro and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gravano throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Concalves appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Gravano scores with a decent looking hook.
Concalves misses with a head kick.
Gravano tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Concalves was well out of range. Poor timing from Gravano.
Concalves tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gravano paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gravano takes a swing at Concalves's ribcage but misses.
Salvatore Gravano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Concalves fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Gravano to the ground. Concalves is now in Gravano's guard.
Gravano pushes Concalves off and scrambles back to his feet.
Concalves gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Concalves is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Gravano is defending well.
Gravano wants to break the clinch but can't.
Concalves tries to pull guard but Gravano holds him up against the cage and eventually Concalves drops back down to his feet.

Gravano has had enough of the clinch but Concalves keeps him there for the moment.

and Concalves decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Gravano's guard.

Gravano shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Concalves eats them both and turns towards Gravano to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Gravano takes a swing at Concalves's ribcage but misses.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gravano tries to bum rush Concalves with a series of wild strikes but Concalves uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Concalves will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Gravano looks to score with a jab to the body but Concalves is just out of range.
Gravano keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Concalves shoots in and gets a takedown into Gravano's guard.
Gravano has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Concalves has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Concalves throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Concalves should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Concalves pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gravano throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gravano misses with a wild body shot.
Concalves fails with a takedown attempt.
Concalves gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Concalves has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Gravano uses from the top position.
Concalves has Gravano pulled in close to control his posture.

Concalves drives through and clinches with Gravano against the cage.
Concalves jumps guard but Gravano turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Concalves breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Gravano misses with a series of wild punches.
Concalves closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Concalves is working for a kimura but Gravano is defending it quite comfortably.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Concalves in particular looking to stall.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Concalves is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gravano sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Gravano throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Concalves fails with the takedown.
Gravano swings for the body but Concalves moves out of range.
Gravano is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Concalves can do to turn this around?
Concalves with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gravano to score with a decent uppercut.
Gravano throws a right and a left that Concalves avoids nicely.

Concalves tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Concalves throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gravano was covering up waiting for the punch and Concalves finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Concalves is standing up over Gravano. Gravano looks to escape but Concalves dives into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Concalves has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Gravano is defending well but eventually Concalves manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Gravano has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
