Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ethan Hawk (ranked 587 p4p, 578 weight class) and Walad Anubis (ranked 85 p4p, 81 weight class). Anubis has chosen Hideaway as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Walad Anubis was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anubis has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Hawk seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Anubis can turn it around.

Hawk tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Anubis just stands there and leans against the cage.
Hawk jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Anubis walks away with a smile on his face. Hawk gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Hawk counters with a nice body shot.
Hawk fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Anubis is out of range.
Anubis throws a fast counter high kick but Hawk manages to duck under it in time.
Hawk throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Anubis counters with a head kick. That will keep Hawk thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Anubis on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
