Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mental Warrior (ranked 724 p4p, 1942 weight class) and Nova Lankinen (ranked 105 p4p, 253 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Warrior might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Side to Side. Mental Warrior has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mental Warrior!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nova Lankinen!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Warrior throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Warrior misses the jab.
Lankinen is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Warrior moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Lankinen takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Warrior throws a body shot but no joy.
Despite the aggression on Lankinen's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Warrior lands a nice hook to Lankinen's body. Lankinen takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Warrior looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Lankinen scores with a sloppy right hand. Warrior should have avoided that one.
Lankinen's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Warrior connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lankinen scrambles back to his feet.

It looks like Nova Lankinen has been cut.
Warrior tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lankinen was well out of range. Poor timing from Warrior.

Warrior looks to land a left hand but Lankinen moved out of range nicely.

Lankinen slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Warrior misses with a lunging right hand
and Lankinen counters with a three punch combo that has Warrior backing up. Warrior nods at Lankinen to acknowledge the strikes.

Warrior is rocked!
Warrior is aggressively charging in as Lankinen backs up avoiding any damage. Lankinen tosses out a jab and Warrior runs right into it face first! Warrior is out cold! Lankinen dropped down on all fours and is barking in Warrior's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
