Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cameron Watts!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alex Deigos!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yuuki Gou and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watts staying out of range there.
Deigos lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Watts throws a lazy uppercut
and Deigos counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Watts on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
It looks like Cameron Watts has been cut.
Watts throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Watts walks into a stiff left hand from Deigos.
Watts ducks into a a hook from Deigos and goes down! He looks in a bit of a mess; will he beat the count?! 4,5,6,7,8 - he's up and looking to carry on! The referee looks into his eyes and sees that he's OK to continue!
Watts is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Watts drops his guard momentarily, allowing Deigos to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Watts! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Deigos takes it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Alex Deigos!
A less than humble Alex Deigos misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
