Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Koos Van Asch (ranked 660 p4p, 1044 weight class) and Patrick Slinger (ranked 78 p4p, 110 weight class). Slinger is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Hail Mary. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Slinger throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Van Asch's waist but Van Asch gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Slinger off to one side.

Slinger closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Slinger lands in his opponent's guard.

Slinger isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Van Asch stacks Slinger on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Van Asch!

Van Asch has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Slinger's body.
