The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brasileiro tries to close the distance and clinch but Alvarez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Alvarez shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Brasileiro is trying to defend but Alvarez finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Brasileiro wants to get back to full guard but Alvarez has mounted him!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Alvarez cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Brasileiro is rocked!
Alvarez postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Brasileiro bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Alvarez and the fight is over!
