Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joanderson Ribeiro (ranked 2585 p4p, 3063 weight class) and Jackson Tyler (ranked 319 p4p, 371 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Joanderson Ribeiro has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Joanderson Ribeiro seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Tyler tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ribeiro swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Ribeiro fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tyler, pushing him back against the cage.

Ribeiro manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tyler trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Ribeiro manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Tyler wants to sweep but no luck.
Ribeiro advances to half guard.

Ribeiro is working for a submission of some sort.
Ribeiro is nestled in close to Tyler, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Ribeiro is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Tyler is forced to tap! Great finish!

Joanderson Ribeiro decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
