Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joey Chandler (ranked 2831 p4p, 5420 weight class) and Johnny Jank Jankens (ranked 355 p4p, 563 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Jankens's choice of entrance music: Straight Outta Compton by- NWA. Joey Chandler has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Ron Honeybunn and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chandler closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Jankens's guard.

Chandler seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Jankens is bucking up trying to escape but Chandler cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jankens can do anything to dispel that myth.

Jankens tries to lock up and control but Chandler gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Chandler breaks from Jankens's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Jankens really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chandler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Chandler lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Chandler prevents Jankens from getting the reversal.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chandler has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jankens's face.

A relieved looking Joey Chandler thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
