Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pron Swanson (ranked 4286 p4p, 4283 weight class) and Manny Paiwia (ranked 473 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Manny Paiwia!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Paiwia clinches up against the cage.

Paiwia drags the fight down to the ground.
Paiwia pulls Swanson in close to prevent any damage.

Paiwia looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Paiwia is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Swanson wants to stand and escape but instead Paiwia has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Swanson controls Paiwia momentarily but Paiwia frees himself.

Paiwia's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Paiwia passes Swanson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Paiwia throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Paiwia is looking for a kimura here.

Paiwia is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Swanson is just riding it out for now. Paiwia eventually gives up the hold.

Paiwia uses his free foot to push down on Swanson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Swanson.

Paiwia working for a submission but Swanson is keeping him at bay.
Paiwia takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Paiwia stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

Paiwia fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Swanson, pushing him back against the cage.

Paiwia pulls Swanson into guard.

Swanson has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Paiwia to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Swanson is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Paiwia pulls down on the head and he's put Swanson to sleep! This one is all over!
