Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alex Barnes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Ricky Greene!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Russell Pearce and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greene moves away from the strike by Barnes.
And Greene tries to counter it with a takedown but Barnes pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Barnes stuns Greene with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Barnes swats away the attempt to clinch by Greene.
Alex Barnes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Greene has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Greene there as he acknowledges the shot.
Barnes changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Greene looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Greene is looking to regain half guard here but Barnes keeps moving and retains side control.
Greene is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Barnes off and has taken his back!
Greene doesn't have the hooks in and Barnes manages to turn into his guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Greene has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Barnes doesn't defend quickly enough and Greene has managed to lock this one up! Can Barnes escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Greene on a fantastic submission victory.
