Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jubei Akechi (ranked 193 p4p, 350 weight class) and Yamcha Wolf-Fang (ranked 31 p4p, 55 weight class). Wolf-Fang comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rise Against - Give It All kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Yamcha Wolf-Fang has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been hearing reports that Akechi has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Wolf-Fang with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Akechi to score with a decent uppercut.

It seemed like Wolf-Fang was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Akechi feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
