The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopkins swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hopkins misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cann.
Cann moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Cann takes one on the button.
Cann shoots in for a takedown but Hopkins shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Hopkins with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Cann is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hopkins sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Hopkins is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Tory Hopkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hopkins fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cann looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Hopkins scores with a jab. Cann acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Cann chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hopkins can pounce on him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hopkins keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Hopkins fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Hopkins walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Cann drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Hopkins swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Cann's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
