Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kurt Wagner (ranked 22505 p4p, 1556 weight class) and Brooke Marsden (ranked 360 p4p, 92 weight class). Marsden is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Lunatic Fringe. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kurt Wagner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brooke Marsden!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Steve Erwin and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marsden keeps the fight on the outside.
Marsden throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Wagner went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Wagner looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Wagner feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Marsdens jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Marsden keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Marsden darts in and clinches Wagner up against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Marsden cracks Wagner with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Wagner tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Marsden pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Wagner is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brooke Marsden!
Brooke Marsden decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
