Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wolfgang Muller (ranked 67 p4p, 238 weight class) and Jim Bob McDonald (ranked 13 p4p, 43 weight class). Muller comes into the arena with In the Hall of the Mountain King blaring out of the sound system. McDonald has chosen Ray Wylie Hubbard - Redneck Mother as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for McDonald, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McDonald swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Muller lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Muller might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

McDonald goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

McDonald throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Muller sees it coming and avoids it easily.

A nice leg kick lands there from Muller.
Muller dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on McDonald. That did some damage!

A close second round but Jim Bob McDonald will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Wolfgang Muller tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
Jim Bob McDonald spoke after the fight, saying 'A country boy can survive'.
