With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Charles Sobhraj!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Jacobson enables Sobhraj to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jacobson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Sobhraj escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jacobson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Sobhraj is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Our spies down at at Catch Wrestling L.A. inform us that Sobhraj has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Jacobson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sobhraj has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jacobson has managed to get both his arms back between Sobhraj's legs - danger averted.

Sobhraj shoots in for a double leg but Jacobson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Jacobson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sobhraj avoids it really well and circles away.
Sobhraj has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Dylan Jacobson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charles Sobhraj.

Sobhraj feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Sobhraj arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Jacobson's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
