The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ahonen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Ahonen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jackson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ahonen has managed to get both his arms back between Jackson's legs - danger averted.

Ahonen feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Jackson sprawling to the canvas! Jackson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ahonen finish him?!

Jackson is rocked!
Jackson scores with a head kick. Ahonen tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Oh Jackson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ahonen connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Ahonen plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Jackson to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Jackson just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

After the fight, Niko Ahonen was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
