Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sey La Vie (ranked 2082 p4p, 23097 weight class) and Boxing Man (ranked 71 p4p, 112 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man digs a good hook to La Vie's body.
Man misses with an uppercut
and La Vie connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Boxing Man has been cut.
We've been told by La Vie's head coaches at Canucks Combat Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Man throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
La Vie was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Man looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Man stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Man misses with an uppercut.
La Vie throws a big counter combination but Man scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
A telegraphed right hand from Man misses the target.
Man scores with a hook.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Man looks to score with a jab to the body but La Vie is just out of range.
Man smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

A quick step to the side and La Vie tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

La Vie slips a straight right by Man.
Man lands a glancing blow to the side of La Vie's head.
Man scores with a nice right hand.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Man, as that shot connected.
Man misses with a looping right.
Man connects with a body shot that sends La Vie's belly button to the back.

La Vie appears to be looking for a big counter.
Man swings away with a body shot that misses
and La Vie counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Man thinking.
A shot to the liver by Man. Beautiful body shot.
Man swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Man lands with a hook. La Vie tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Man works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Man throws a jab but it's blocked by La Vie.

La Vie takes a jab right on the kisser.
