Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zied Hakimi!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Todoroki avoids a punch combination nicely.
Todoroki will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hakimi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Todoroki moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Todoroki shoots in for a takedown but Hakimi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Todoroki shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hakimi sprawls well. Hakimi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Todoroki gets slowly back to his feet.

Todoroki has hold of Hakimi's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Hakimi tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Todoroki cranks the arm and Hakimi screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Hakimi, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Shoto Todoroki!
