PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Amir Ziyaeddin (ranked 2185 p4p, 2701 weight class) and Barry Jones (ranked 308 p4p, 364 weight class). Ziyaeddin comes into the arena with Roswell's Spell by Chevelle blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Jones's choice of entrance music: Raining Blood - Slayer. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

It looks like Amir Ziyaeddin has been cut.
Jones feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ziyaeddins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Jones throws a looping overhand right but Ziyaeddin ducks down to avoid it.

Jones manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ziyaeddin manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Jones wants to stand but Ziyaeddin has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Jones might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Jones walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Ziyaeddin drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Jones swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Ziyaeddin's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
