Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Darry Curtis (ranked 97 p4p, 66 weight class) and Konrad Wagner (ranked 17 p4p, 9 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Curtis might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Stevie Wonder - Stay Gold. Darry Curtis had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Konrad Wagner!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wagner looks to score with a jab to the body but Curtis is just out of range.
Jab by Curtis.
Curtis throws a chopping leg kick but Wagner manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Curtis throws a leg kick which misses Wagner's front leg but catches the back leg as Wagner tries to avoid it.
Curtis throws a right and a left that both miss.
Curtis blocks a leg kick.
Curtis lands a nice hook to Wagner's body. Wagner takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Wagner stuns Curtis with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Wagner has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Curtis keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Wagner.
Curtis scores with a leg kick.
Curtis misses with an uppercut. Wagner saw that one coming.
Wagner moves out of range of the strikes.
Curtis walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
It looks like Darry Curtis has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wagner lands with a big left! Curtis is wobbled badly! Wagner comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Curtis to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Konrad Wagner!
