Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Allen Sansing (ranked 4943 p4p, 4942 weight class) and Hung Hai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Allen Sansing!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hung Hai!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Illya Tyunina and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sansing defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hai.
Sansing throws the kick towards the body but Hai avoids it.
Sansing goes for a double leg but Hai avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hai continues to drive forward.

Sansing breaks the clinch.
Sansing could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Sansing looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Sansing throws a sloppy head kick and Hai moves out of range easily.
And Hai tries to counter it with a takedown but Sansing pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Hai throws a hook but Sansing blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hai shoots for a takedown but Sansing saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Sansing attempts a counter takedown but Hai avoids it well and moves away.
Sansing shoots in but no luck this time.

Hai takes the fight into the clinch.
Sansing tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hai smiles and moves away.

Hai dives in and scores a takedown into Sansing's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hai trying to control but Sansing is working from the bottom.
Hai wants to stand and escape but instead Sansing has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Hai seems keen to control Sansing's posture.
Sansing has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Hai looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Sansing throws an elbow that misses. Hai uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sansing's guard. Nice move by Hai!

Sansing lands a good elbow from the bottom.
Hai has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sansing is proving hard to escape from.

Sansing wants to hit a sweep here but Hai passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Sansing there!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hai breaks from Sansing's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Sansing tries to reverse the position but Hai maintains control.
Hai trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Hai jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Sansing is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Sansing and Hai has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Hai trying to control the position but Sansing is working away.
What's Sansing going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
Sansing stops Hai from passing to mount.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Hai is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Sansing's shoulder. That is not cool.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Hung Hai dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Sansing fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Despite the aggression on Hai's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Hai wants to clinch but Sansing slips to the side

and Sansing counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Sansing tries to free his leg and advance position but Hai is retaining full guard.
Hai controls Sansing momentarily but Sansing frees himself.
Sansing wants to stand and escape but instead Hai has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Hai wants to get up but he can't break Sansing's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Hung Hai has got the better of the ground game so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sansing is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Hai being controlled here momentarily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hai passes Sansing's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Hai is looking to stall here but Sansing recovers full guard.
Sansing keeping moving, preventing Hai from controlling successfully.
Hai trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hai scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Sansing looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Hai preventing the sweep.
Sansing knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hai on the ground.
Hai trying to control the position from guard on top but Sansing is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hai landing some decent shots from guard.
Sansing wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Sansing is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Sansing misses with a takedown attempt - Hai sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Hai has managed to clinch.

Sansing gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Sansing is keen to just control but Hai is a slippery customer.
Sansing thows a huge punch but Hai dodges it nicely.
Hai makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hai.
Hai controls Sansing momentarily but Sansing frees himself.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sansing looking to sit in guard and control but Hai gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Hai would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Hai is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Hai cracks Sansing with a solid left hand.
Hai stands up over Sansing, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Hung Hai showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Hai is pressing down on Sansing's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Sansing sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Hai doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Sansing paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Hai - great work!
