Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ted Meredith (ranked 2876 p4p, 2056 weight class) and Shichiroji San (ranked 383 p4p, 291 weight class). Meredith comes to the cage accompanied by Skinny Boys - Skinny (They Can't Get Enough). San has chosen Seven Samurai as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Ted Meredith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shichiroji San!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
San is looking to clinch.
Meredith swings for the body but San moves out of range.
San tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Meredith manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
San rushes Meredith and presses him up against the cage.
San lands a left hand.
San throws a punch but it's blocked by Meredith.
Meredith pushes off an throws an elbow but San leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
A short right from San.
San lands with a short shot to the head.
Meredith lands an elbow inside that San shrugs off.
It looks like Shichiroji San has been cut.
San blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
San blocks the elbow strike.
Meredith doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
A nice right hand lands inside from San.
Meredith can't find room to land a body shot as San controls the action.
San scores with a shoulder strike.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
San goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Meredith tries to throw a body punch but San avoids it by throwing Meredith back against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Meredith fails to land.
San managing to block the knees to the body from Meredith.
That's one minute gone in the round.
San looking for a takedown.
Meredith blocks an uppercut.
Meredith blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Meredith has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
A quick uppercut on the inside from San.
Meredith misses with an elbow over the top.
A knee to the head by Meredith.
San scores with a shot to the side of Meredith's head.
San blocks an uppercut.
Meredith breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Meredith pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Good standup being displayed there by San as he connects with a hook.
Meredith looks to land a combination but San avoids it well.
Meredith punishes San's body with a nice straight punch.
San drops Meredith with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Meredith looks back up at him and smiles so San waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Meredith is rocked!
It looks like Ted Meredith has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
San cracks Meredith with a left hook right on the temple and Meredith goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! San lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Meredith is OK!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Shichiroji San!
Shichiroji San spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
