These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wideman Lll jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Anderson fails with a takedown attempt.
Wideman Lll shoots in and drives through. Anderson sprawls well.
A quick step to the side and Anderson tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Wideman Lll drives through and clinches with Anderson against the cage.

Wideman Lll is trying to trip Anderson. He has hold of a leg but Anderson is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Wideman Lll persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Anderson will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Wideman Lll is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
