Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Shewmaker (ranked 1339 p4p, 3063 weight class) and Dolla Drew (ranked 184 p4p, 372 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robbie Shewmaker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dolla Drew!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shewmaker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Drew displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Shewmaker.
Drew has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Shewmaker misses with a jab, cross combination.
Drew connects with a body shot.
Drew connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Drew tries to bum rush Shewmaker with a series of wild strikes but Shewmaker uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Shewmaker shoots in and drives through. Drew sprawls well.
Shewmaker throws a poor cross that misses
and Drew makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Drew throws a looping overhand right but Shewmaker ducks down to avoid it.
Drew scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Shewmaker throws a body kick that misses.
Decent striking displayed by Drew there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Drew scores with a jab.
Drew swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Shewmaker misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Drew looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Drew moves out of range as Shewmaker throws a body kick.
Drew connects with a nice looking jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shewmaker takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Shewmaker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Drew's waist but Drew gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shewmaker off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robbie Shewmaker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Drew lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Shewmaker defending well as Drew loads up on a big left hand.
Drew lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Shewmaker is rocked!
Drew digs a good body shot into Shewmaker's ribs.
Oh Shewmaker is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Shewmaker is breathing heavily.
Drew connects with a stiff jab that staggers Shewmaker - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Dolla Drew!
