The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Battle gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Okoro to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Battle looking for a guillotine here but Okoro defends easily.
Okoro trying to control but Battle is working from the bottom.

Battle is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Battle throws his legs up looking for a submission but Okoro uses it to pass to side control.

Battle is looking for a sweep.
Battle can't do much from the bottom here.
Battle looks to move to half guard but instead Okoro has passed into mount! Damn!
Battle gets back to half guard.

Okoro is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Battle sees it coming and defends easily.
Okoro is thwarting Battle's attempts to control the position.

Okoro wants to take a breather but Battle is having none of it.

Okoro is trying to work for a kimura but Battle is defending well.

Okoro has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Battle defend it? Okoro steps over the head and cranks it - Battle is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Okoro!
