Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lazar Petrovic (ranked 24519 p4p, 24384 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Petrovic.
Xxx is trying to counter with his kicks.
Petrovic gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Petrovic is trying to pull guard but Xxx has him pressed against the cage.

Petrovic has his foot on Xxx's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Xxx works his way back into a safe position though.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Petrovic feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Xxx is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Petrovic presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Xxx replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Petrovic blocks it well.
Xxx has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Petrovic jumps guard but Xxx turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Petrovic breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Petrovic is defended easily by Xxx.
Xxx shoots in and gets a takedown into Petrovic's guard.
Xxx Xxx has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lazar Petrovic.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Petrovic, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
